NATHALIE MCGLOIN: DISABLED RACERS ARE “DOING INCREDIBLE THINGS”

Inclusivity in motorsports is gaining momentum as a significant trend, reflecting a broader societal shift towards embracing diversity at all levels. The FIA has been instrumental in this shift, having established an inclusivity commission aimed at enhancing participation from diverse backgrounds.

Nathalie McGloin, president of the FIA Disability and Accessibility Commission, expresses, "Motorsport is the only sport in the world where a subcategory for disabled drivers does not exist... being in control of something so powerful, a racing car, on a racing circuit competing alongside predominantly able-bodied men is huge."
